Here's the Excel colour picker as it appears when requested from the Font Color toolbar button. Point at the colour samples to see the name and VBA index number of each colour.

Here is a table of the colours that are hidden away. Those colours with names can be found on the additional panel added to the colour picker when it is requested from a dialog box. The colours with just index numbers can be applied only though VBA.
